    45 KB Animals and /c/ Anonymous ## Janitor 10/22/06(Sun)14:38 No.288
It has sort of been an unwritten rule that cute pictures of animals are not posted in /c/, but rather in /cm/. However, I have never heard an official opinion on this. Should I delete images of dogs, cats, and prinnies (most of which are male anyway) from /c/? If this is the case, can there be a rule update or a sticky that makes this known?

I am /cm/, and I was unaware of this "unwritten rule". Unless the animal is with a cute animated male people comlpain when animals are posted there, saying to gb2/c/. Even characters like Sonic are very iffy, and it may either turn into a furry fight, get saged, or they post human versions and choose to ignore the others.

they post photos of animals in c/cm? Well they shoulden't. /c/ and /cm/ are just for animated content, with the exception of photos of figuriens and whatnot. just delete animal pictures. anything close to furry should be deleted too, though of course cat girls etc. are fine.

What about the demi-humans here >>>/cm/160421.html

I asked on IRC last night and MrVacBob said he supposed it was fine, but they don't even look half human. Also someone posted Yoshi in a Bridget costume in another thread. So I delete these after all?

Why can't anime animals be posted in /a/?

    >Anime animals: I dont see why not

But some issues arise. /c/ is supossed to be a place for cute anime girls. That is why /cm/ was made, to separate the two genders. If animals are allowed on /c/, am I supossed to delete the male ones but keep the female ones? The majority of visitors don't want any illustrations of animals in /c/. I think that people should post pictures of Chiyo's dog and the like in /a/, since it is a more general anime board.
