Over the past couple days, I've been getting an occasional illegal report from /b/ showing up on my panel, though I clearly do not janitor /b/ (thank god, I'd be at my computer desk the rest of my life). Does anyone else notice this? Is the problem known by the powers that be?
When a post gets at least 3 illegal reports on it, then it becomes available for any janitor to take care of. This has generally been applied to /b/ as CP finds its way there. Check your e-mail inbox for more details.
didn't you get the email from alternative?
post unlocking was outline in the email I sent to everyone. If you see an unlocked post, deal with it as you see fit. Also, why are you not on IRC? Get on IRC! read my emails!
>>814I never got the email, or I'd have known about it. Sorries.
If I get this error: "RPC Error: Cannot find record." everytime I ban request something illegal on /b/ does it mean that someone else has already deleted/ban requested it before me?Its strange because I always get there just in time to miss being able to ban request if thats the case.
>>821i sometimes get the same error when i delete/ban request through /reports/ and i know i'm the only janitor on my board. so it may be the case that someone else got it before you or it could be some bug that hasn't been ironed out.
>>821yeah, happens to me too. someone else got to it before, i assume
>>821Oh, that's probably me. lols.I know this is for all boards, but it seems that it's been exclusively /b/ that has gotten illegal reports of all the times I've seen the flashing red button.
>>824that's probably because /b/ is one of the more active boards. and there are plenty of people viewing that board that don't want to see CP. that's probably why it's always /b/ with the illegal reports.i get illegal reports on my own board, but there's usually only 1 report and i get to it before it has had a chance to be reported 3 or more times.etcetcetc
