Capchas/"vericodes" suck. We just need to clean up floods when they happen, which isn't very often. | ###.###.###.###

Usually
highlighting mods on IRC that are at the PC gets a faster response
(Assuming they don't just surf the web) than flagging.
I suppose it's best to flag a board and highlight/notify a mod on IRC at the same time.
By
the way, just an insight, what about creating some sort of validation
code for each reply made (just 2 digits or something). That pretty much
would block any program from spamming replies. But ofcourse things like
these don't happen often, and users will probably dislike validating
their replies all the time. It could be considered an alternative method
of prevention. | ###.###.###.###

threads are blatant ("POAST ALL NARUTO WALLS!!!!!!!!"), but others go

all of the moderators are EST, not PST. How is going on IRC or /j/
going to solve the problem as opposed to flagging the board if nobody is

| 337 | 10/26 15:49 | moot | | From the /r/ rules...From the /r/ rules: "1. All requests, be they for content or reseeds, belong here."
*Anything*
that is a request belongs in /r/. The one exception is if somebody
CONTRIBUTES while requesting. Example: "Hey anybody have more of 'x'?"
and then the user proceeds to post a few example images to get the
thread rolling. These tend to be harmless and are contributions to begin
with so I let them slide. | ###.###.###.###

going to make a post in /a/ later today (providing I remember) about
this sort of thing since some of the mods caused a ruckus with the whole
"no motivational poster/ecchi" stuff.
I've basically maintained
that as long as I don't see nipples or vagina, I really don't care.
Overtly sexual images shouldn't be posted though. If the images are
exposing but harmless in nature they should probably be left alone. It
basically worked that way without incident for a while before people
decided to try to clarify the rule. | ###.###.###.###

I am most times left at a loss for what to do with the post. | ###.###.###.###

Even
a cursory glance through /a/ will show several posts like this. The de
facto rule that I (and to my knowledge, RyuKaiser) have been working by
is "delete if it contains nipples, penis, or vagina," and use discretion
for anything else. | ###.###.###.###

right about that, though, (Correct me if I'm wrong :)) most moderators

could take a while to be solved, thus a chance for a massive flood.
Just tell me if I'm wrong, I'm just giving you my point of view, and since I'm new I could very well be wrong. | ###.###.###.###

is hardly a serious bug, or even a source of any great annoyance, but I
thought I should mention it here, anyway. It seems that when I go into
reply mode in a thread, none of the extension's buttons load, as you can
see in the attached screenshot.
They will load for a particular
post when I move the mouse over it, though, which is why a few of the
posts in the screenshot have them but the rest don't.
Again, nothing serious, but I found it curious. | ###.###.###.###
