probably because /b/ is one of the more active boards. and there are
plenty of people viewing that board that don't want to see CP. that's
probably why it's always /b/ with the illegal reports.
i get
illegal reports on my own board, but there's usually only 1 report and i
get to it before it has had a chance to be reported 3 or more times. etcetcetc | ###.###.###.###

can post licensed content in /co/? that seems pretty dumb. I've been
banning any "licensed content" reports that show up in /co/, like
anywhere else on the site.
If I'd seen a thread like that I would delete, and maybe ban for it. But maybe I'm not supposed to!
Note that general requests are sometimes okay, if they post good and relevant content with it and aren't being dicks. | ###.###.###.###

| 825 | 03/06 13:50 | l3reak | Request T... | Alright, so... the...Alright,
so... there are these threads popping up now calling themselves
"request threads", and I'd like to ask about them. Of course normal
requests are always against the rules and I take swift action against
those. But, I wanted to know whether something like these so called
"request threads", where someone offers to fill requests, should also be
deleted. People seem to like them plenty, and if they were well used
they'd probably help keep requests from shitting all up the board. Then
again, I guess they should just make something like this in /r/ in the
first place.
Also, I don't think I can delete this just because
people are sharing copyrighted US material like comics, because there's
this wierd "comic book fag" clause on /co/ (approved by moot) where we
let them post comics if they want to.
My current policy is "delete". Official ruling? | ###.###.###.###

this time I have an actual problem! There's been a big huff on /a/
lately about janitors going crazy and deleting threads. They claim it is
probably new janitors going gung-ho, but there aren't any new ones yet,
as far as I know.
I have either not been around when they were
supposedly deleted or I never even saw the threads that were deleted, so
it's nothing of my doing.
I am assuming it is just some troll
trying to stir up trouble by deleting his own threads and then
complaining that a janitor did it. And it seems to be working... | ###.###.###.###

My
first instinct is to just delete it out of hand. Sure, technically
there's no nipple or genitals or anything like that making it not
worksafe. The nature of the pic, though, especially with the girl's
young age, makes me pretty hesitant about it. Then again, there weren't
any complaining replies, so it seems the board didn't mind... except
for the two reports.
Anyway, while I was typing up this post, it's been deleted. I figure I may as well still post this, though. | ###.###.###.###

| 800 | 02/26 00:48 | Tsukatu | | The amount of /w/ ...The
amount of /w/ content in /wg/ has been seriously picking up, and I have
reason to suspect that it's not due to general stupidity, but to a few
particular people who for whatever retarded reason are rebelling against
/wg/'s "keep your anime in /w/" principle. There have been
escalating arguments over this issue, and I want to settle them in a way
that doesn't involve having to scan through all of /wg/ and delete the
two or three dozen anime pictures that these trolls keep posting every
couple of hours.
I think I have the most friendly and direct solution: I
humbly request that I be allowed to keep tabs on which IP's post anime
in /wg/. In this way, I can determine which assholes are intentionally
breaking the board rules and causing high quality threads to devolve
into flamewars. I imagine I would do this by asking a Moderator in
IRC to tell me the IP of a post I point out. Or if it's that big of a
security issue, then I'd be happy with just the last two values of the
IP address. I also understand that a Moderator can refuse to tell me an
IP, and I won't ask any questions.
This problem is growing very quickly, and I need some way to contain it before /wg/ becomes a warzone. | ###.###.###.###
