pop up from time to time on /mu/. These threads serve some sort of
purpose as they ask for suggestions for new bands/artists. More often
than not, however, they are simply thinly-veiled attempts at stretching
one's e-peen. A while ago, a poster was banned for doing this and his
post was stickied to serve as an example for the rest of /mu/, but there
was never really an official ruling on the practice of posting
screencaps. So...
1.) Are screencaps of one's collection allowed?
- If they are, could a sticky be made telling the posters to keep it all in one thread?
- If they are not, could /mu/'s rules reflect that?
2.) For the time being, should /mu/'s janitors banrequest, delete, or ignore collection screencap threads?

gets to post comics links because the comic industry has gone on record
they aren't going to use legal action against people who share comics
online. this is obviously different with the /mu/ and the RIAA and such.
I'm going to assume that book publishers like to use lawyers on people,

only reason /co/ gets a pass is that the mods already told them for
some reason that it's OK to post comics, and when janitors started
deleting them /co/ utterly rioted until moot came down from the heavens
and gave them back their free comics. It's too late to go back on it,
etc... doesn't mean posting illegal materials on other boards should be

films'. This usually ends in someone asking for a title that's been
suggested, or uploading one which is often licenced. Normally, I'd let
the topic slide and just delete posts as appropriate, but there's beem
three or four of these a day lately. I've no idea if it's the same
person or a bunch of people, but they're usually written the same way
every time. Any ideas on how best to handle this?
